January 2022 Operating Hours

Campus Hours

Please follow these updated hours of operation and guidelines for services available on campus prior to the resumption of in-person instruction. Face mask policies will be strictly enforced in all public spaces on campus. 

Danna Student Center 

Open Daily 

  • 7 a.m. – 2 a.m. 

Monroe Library

A valid Loyola ID card is required to enter the building.

Student Health Clinic

Monday – Friday

  • 8:30 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.

You must have an appointment for entry to the Health Clinic. Call 504.865.3326. Walk-ins will not be accepted. 

University Counseling Center

Monday – Friday

  • 8:30 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.

All UCC appointments are conducted remotely. No walk-ins. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 504.865.3835 during office hours. Students can call 504.865.3854 after hours to speak directly to a counselor on call.

Loyola Bookstore

  • Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Closed Weekends

Don’t forget to order your books online for contactless delivery.

Iggy’s Cupboard

Iggy’s Cupboard will remain open by appointment (Monday – Friday noon to 7 p.m., weekends noon to 5 p.m.) to any member of Loyola's community that may need a little extra help. Schedule a time to visit online. Please book an appointment at least two hours in advance.

Post Office

Main Campus Hours

  • Monday – Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. 

Ignatius Chapel

In-person attendance at the Sunday 10:30 a.m. Mass in Ignatius Chapel is limited to pre-registered individuals. To register your attendance, please fill out the form.

The Mass is also live streamed on YouTube.

University Sports Complex

Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Sunday: 1 p.m. – 8 p.m.  

"To go" boxes will be available in the Orleans Room. GrubHub will also be active for all open locations. To place pickup orders in advance, download the Grubhub app and connect it to your campus dining plan. Learn more on our Dining FAQ page.

Hours of Operation for January 17-30

Some offices and departments on campus will operate with virtual appointments for the start of the Spring 2022 semester before in-person instruction begins. Please review the hours and preferred methods of contact to schedule an appointment with a particular department.

Department of Student Life and Ministry

Hours of operation: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. 

Type of appointment: In-person, phone and virtual (via Zoom)

How to book appointment: 

Bursar’s Office 

Hours of operation: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. 

Type of appointment: Phone, virtual (via Zoom), or in-person (by appointment). Phone or virtual appointments only after Thanksgiving.

Central Receiving 

Hours of operation: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.

Type of appointment: No appointments required for general pickups. 

To inquire about deliveries, call 504.865.2591. Department representatives picking up face masks should email Lynn Davis at ladavis1@loyno.edu prior to pickup.

Financial Aid

Type of appointment: Phone or virtual appointment by request (via Zoom)

How to book appointment:  

Students who have specific questions about their financial aid can call or text their counselor based on their last name:

Texts and calls will be answered within normal office hours. During peak times it may take up 24-36 hours to answer all calls and text messages.

Information Technology

Hours of operation: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Pan-American Student Success Center

Hours of operation: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. 
Walk-in hours (currently virtual): Monday - Thursday, 3-4 p.m.

Career Development Center

Office of Accessible Education (OAE)

  • Hours of operation: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. for virtual and phone appointments, in-person appointments are limited and will be held M–W, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Learn Lab in the Danna Student Center and Th–F, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in Monroe Library.

Office of Academic Advising and Success Coaching 

  • Type of appointment: Phone and virtual (via Zoom) only 
  • How to book an appointment: Visit success.loyno.edu/advising-coaching and pick any advisor-coach to schedule an appointment. For immediate assistance, text 504.608.4278 with name, CWID, and a brief description of the issue. Students can expect a response from an advisor-coach within a few minutes.
